Some of our patients may need additional ventilator assistance and will not be able to return home immediately. Instead, we bring home to them in the form of our specialized ventilator unit. Long-term patients’ families are welcome here as we provide quality clinical care and education 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
At Meadow Wind, our goal is to get our patients on their feet, and with the help of our expertly skilled team…HOME.
Many patients who come to our facility transition home and live a fun, active and full life. Whether those going home are ventilator-dependent or not, we seek to educate patients and families to provide them with valuable tools that will make the transition easier. We will also help coordinate any necessary home-care arrangements, necessary equipment, and visiting staff (such as speech and occupational therapists).
